Why I Built This

Most people guess at their skin problems and buy products based on advertising. Debug Skin, a project at the AIoT Lab of Dai Nam University, aims to give a first, evidence-based read of a skin photo and point the user to care that follows medical guidance.

02

How It Works

The user uploads a photo of the affected area. The model analyses the skin condition and the system returns recommendations that are aligned with medical skin-care guidance rather than product marketing. My role is developing the model.

Key Decisions

  • Medical grounding first. Recommendations are written from medical guidance; the model classifies, it does not invent advice.
  • Photo quality matters. A large part of the work is handling real user photos — lighting, angle, resolution — not just the model architecture.

The project is still being completed at the lab. This page will be updated with results as they are validated.
